CEDAR VILLAGE HAS A FOUNTAIN!
Residents of Cedar Village Mobile Home Community have recently added an exciting new feature to their lovely pond! Take a walk by the pond between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and you’ll see it – a beautiful fountain which has six different spray patterns, and which can also be adapted to include colored lights! While you’re there, take a few minutes to enjoy the relaxing water sounds.
The fountain is just one part of the over-all plan to make the pond and surrounding area a recreational space for the entire community. The pond, which is very healthy, has already been stocked with many varieties of fish, including Hybrid Bluegill, a small fish which is fun to catch and good to eat, Large Mouth Bass or Game fish which will be catch-and-release only, Red Ears and regular Bluegills. These fish are all still young, so please obey the “No Fishing” sign while we give them time to mature. Our long-term plan includes Fishing Tournaments!
What can residents do to help with this great project? Keep an eye out for trespassers and report them to the office. Obey the ‘No Fishing” and “No Swimming” signs. Volunteer to assist with building picnic tables and benches. Before you know it you’ll be able to fish and picnic at your own community recreation area! Contact the office for details!
