“Security in Our Community” Seminar
On Saturday, June 22, 0ver 60 interested residents of Central Mobile Home Village had the opportunity to meet with City of Atlanta police officers Gonzalez and White regarding safety at Central Mobile Home Village. Topics covered included:
911 CALLS
* Calls should be made every time there is an incident to report. * Reporting individual should have all information about the incident ready for the officer when he/she arrives to begin the investigation. * Ask for “language help” if you do not speak English.
INVESTIGATION
* “See and Say” Reported crimes in the community, such as teenagers selling drugs or articles being stolen from mobile homes, which result in an arrest can earn the reporter of the crime a reward of $2,000.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
* Officer Gonzalez and property manager Angela Vera will be working on organizing this in the near future.
Officer Gonzalez will schedule a follow-up meeting within the next two months.
