SPLASH Bartow is an exciting mission opportunity that God has given to the evangelical churches in Bartow County. Our goals are as follows: 1. Significantly impact a region for Christ 2. Provide a multi-generational missions/ministry experience 3. Make missions and the sharing of Christ experiential / hands on, with a focus on teenagers 4. Prepare students to make a SPLASH in their schools 5. Help churches work together cooperatively How it all began In the Spring of 2008, a group of local Student Ministers & church leaders began to consider how they might impact their community through various service projects. They realized that there was an opportunity for multiple generations to serve together in their own community for a common good. In July of that same year, over 250 teenagers & adults from various religious affiliations embarked on a one-week, local mission experience. Little did they know that God would use these efforts to start a movement among the churches in Bartow County. Today, with over 100 completed service projects and over 1,500 volunteers, SPLASH Bartow serves as the catalyst for what God is doing in and through the churches in Bartow County.
We would like to come to your park and conduct a Backyard Bible Club, Sports Camp or a Craft Camp with the children who live there. A team of 10-12 students, 2 adults and a site coordinator who have passed a criminal background check, will come to the park to conduct the camp. The team will be on-site from 9-12 or from 1-4 on Wednesday and Thursday, July 10th & 11th, then Friday morning from 9-12. They will bring all the supplies needed to conduct the camp or club. An inflatable may be brought to the site one day, with your permission. We have been doing this at other places for 5 years and have always been asked to return the following year.
