In 1981 the Roane’s, Boyd and Spencer, entered the field of real estate with the acquisition of an apartment complex in south Atlanta. In 1983 they purchased a second complex. In 1984 they sold both apartment complexes and purchased their first two land lease communities (aka mobile home parks) in Atlanta and Emerson, Georgia. They acquired 2 more land lease communities in Carrollton, Georgia in 1987 and in El Campo, Texas in 1999, thus creating the core of Pentagon Properties. Today about 450 families are proud to call our four well-maintained and carefully managed mobile home communities their home. These four communities also provide employment for 14 full-time team members. Pentagon Properties continues to grow through our commitment to operate on the principles of land lease lifestyle and affordable living for all its residents.
