Today PPI employees had a Tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Cedar Village. They learned the details about the plant, starting with the EQ (Equalizer tank ) to the digester tank, Aeration tanks, Clarifier, Chlorine, and De-Chlorine, and finally to the V box and the creek. They
walked the plant and had a chemistry class at the lab.

In 1981 the Roane’s, Boyd and Spencer, entered the field of real estate with the acquisition of an apartment complex in south Atlanta. In 1983 they purchased a second complex. In 1984 they sold both apartment complexes and purchased their first two land lease communities (aka mobile home parks) in Atlanta and Emerson, Georgia. These four communities also provide employment for 14 full-time team members.
